Hey I just finished my second build.

BBOD. Nothing fancy to you guys, but I'm just proud of making pedals myself. And having a blast learning how it all works. Thanks for your helpful threads on this board.

Guts. No mods. I really like how this thing sounds. In the music I play I build the gain in stages and this pedal sounds great with all the rest I have on my board, or on it's own. I get more of my guitar's sound coming through the bbod as opposed to the 808 clone that was my first build. Still like it, just not as much as the bbod.

Very clean looking build! And I see another fan of those radio shack knobs :D So would you say the BBOD is a bit more transparent than the 808?

Well done and welcome to the addiction. Learning this stuff is great fun, which is just as well as there is endless stuff to learn.

That looks nice and clean, particularly for a first pedal. Welcome to the forum/hobby.

Yes, much more transparent. And I was going to get some new knobs, but I like how easy it is to adjust the gain control with my foot since it occupies the lower righthand side of my board. Super convenient.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Thinking about making a compressor or boost next.

Love the clean look. We all appreciate whatever someone builds.
