I missed the group buy on these, so i bought a completed pedal off here a few weeks back.. And I really loved it. So I got 3 boards from CJ. Here is #1.

I built it stock. But keeping things fresh, i used a couple of unneccesarily large caps in there. The 3.3n is super duper large. Its bigger than the IC by a lot. And the 220p silver Mica is huge too. I didnt have an 820k for R6, so I made one out of three resistors, and socketed it. CJ's build docs say that one will effect the gain stage 2 level, so I figgered I could play around with the values there.

But the thing sounds great. I love this pedal, and wanted to play one I made myself... so that is why I built this one. I am not too happy with the way the stamping came out. Oh well. Cant win them all. But this will be a players pedal... for me... and it will get thrown around pretty good anyways.

By the way, I used one of those 3pdt boards from mammouth for the first time. I dont like it. It gets in the way of jacks, so I had to install it on an incline to make it work. this is a predrilled PPP enclosure, so i know it wasnt my measuring! :-) They have a smaller version of this, but honestly, I like Barry's GuitarPCB 3pdt boards better. So i will use up the ones I have on hand from Mammoth, and just use Barry's going forward.

Thanks to CJ for a killer board.

AWESOME!!!!

I think it looks great, I have trouble getting any stamps to look even that decent!

I ended up just doing handwritten text, but Im thinking for myself a printer upgrade is down the line, so who knows!

Great work once again, and I love the symbols at the bottom - cool looking circuit too!

Coming up next, an enclosure made out of matchsticks!

I like the stamps. It's great that you found something you like the sound of that much.
