With lots of trouble shooting I have been able to get my pedal working. There is still a lot of feedback coming from the pedal when i turn the knobs (especially the tone knob) and when i try and play my guitar. Just wondering if there is anyway to solve this issue?

This does not seem normal. What do you mean by 'feedback' ? Do you mean oscillation / screaming noises only when you have the guitar volume up, that go away when you turn the guitar volume down ? Or do you mean the pedal itself is unstable and howls even when the guitar is turned down.

You can expect a tendency towards the first with any gain pedal - fuzz / overdrive. The solution is to turn down and/or move further away from the amp.

The second indicates a problem with your build - perhaps some similar looking resistors have become swapped resulting in far more gain than you should have.

It is screaming that occurs when the knobs on the pedal are turned up and down. The connection also seems to be sort of fuzzy and has been cutting in and out from time to time. Is there a fix that you suggest?

Well right now all I can say is there is something wrong with your build. You do have a brand new fresh battery connected?

I know you say you have already done a lot of trouble shooting but the usual advice is to check over the build visually and perhaps reflow all the solder joints.

I'm afraid any more specific advice could only be given after following the usual procedures - post some large clear pictures of your build so people can eyeball it for mistakes. If that doesn't turn up anything obvious it is a question of taking DC voltage measurements and using a signal tracer.

Alright Ill post bigger pics. I have gone through reflowing all of my solder joints and I have checked every piece to make sure it is in the right place. Im at a loss of what else to do. If the tone is down and the other knobs are just right there isn't any screaming, but I would like to try and get it so that there isn't at any times. The tone is the main issue. Anyway thanks for your input.

Here is a link to my photo bucket. If anyone can look at my pedal and see a solution to my "screaming" issue let me know.

You have your B25k tone pot and B100k Volume pot mixed up.

Your component placement looks good. Your solder joints look good. Your wiring looks correct, but you could clean it up a bit. That's probably the reason for your intermittent signal.

Thanks for your input. If I change this is there a chance of ruining the entire pedal?

Not if you take your time and remove the pots without yanking the solder pads/traces off the PCB. And even then, you can fix that. Have you check your pots and verified that you have the wrong value in the place where the tone pot goes?

No I haven't. I couldn't tell from the backs of the pots. The only way that I could do that is by lifting the pcb and I never thought to check that. I do have a solder remover that vacuums up the wet/lose bits so that should make my life easier to be able to check that the pots are in the right place.

The values of the pots should be printed on the face, not the back. So to verify your pot placement, all you need to do is remove the assembly from the enclosure.

I have done everything to trouble shoot my pedal. I have checked and re soldered all connections and everything is working and in the right place. When I plug in my pedal and when I turn it on, The LED comes on and is strong but I have no sound coming out and going into the amp. Wondering if there is anything I am missing.
Heres a picture.
Thanks

Your wiring is looking a little rough. Most likely, something came loose when checking the other components. A signal tester would be very helpful at this point so we could figure out exactly where the problem is rather than me just saying, "redo your wiring".

Okay. By signal tester do you mean volt metre?

No, it's a signal probe used to audibly track the signal thru the circuit...
