I have just finished making my pedal. When I got it connected to the amp and to my guitar the pedal was acting more like a on and off switch rather than a overdrive pedal. The LED was not coming on and the knobs were not working but other than that the pedal was still giving sound to the amp. Wondering if there are any sorts of trouble shoots to allow me to test the sound more easily and the connections?

Thanks for your input I will defiantly check my solders and orientation. Ive posted a photo bucket link with my pedal. Maybe you can see the issues if there are any and let me know. Thanks.

Not liking the looks of that footswitch wiring. The wire ends protruding from the lugs should be trimmed off flush with the top of the solder joint. Clean that up and see if it improves things.

Thanks for the reply. I did that but it still doesn't seem to be giving me any power. Ill go through all of the solders and test from there.

Do you have a multimeter available for checking circuit continuity and voltages?

Yes I do.
I got the led working and then it shut off on me as well. Im wondering if the knobs and the LED are to close to the circuit board causing it to short.
