I read Subba uses Duplicolor Truck, Van, & SUV Clear Coat, but I read elsewhere that it yellows quickly. Does anyone know which sprays will not yellow, besides Krylon (which is causing my decals to fade for some reason)?

I've been using Minwax, waterbased, polycrylic. It takes some getting used to, but works really well and does not yellow.
Do not use Polyurethane! It is oil based and a killer top coat (super durable), but it yellows right out of the can.

what are the trouble you have run into with the minwax that took some getting used to?

I used the spray can and it comes out at a different rate than typical sprays. I would just practice a bit on something you don't need. Also, it goes on thick and then runs and self levels. It takes about 3 coats of very light spray to get it right. My first few pedals ended up with thick spots on the bottom edge of the enclosure. And it takes about a week to get really hard.

What I found with that Minwax Polycrylic spray is that it tends to come out milky white, and after it settles for a while it clears up. But I put it on an acrylic swirl paintjob once, and it stayed cloudy and ruined the finish. It's possible the temperature was too cold though.

Yes, it does come out looking a bit like semen. But it will settle and clear up. If you use it in temps below 60* you run the risk of it staying milky.

I'm starting to really consider sending my enclosures by batch to my friend who have a car body shop...., and just get them clear coated there.

Anyone ever did that?

envirotex doesn't yellow. crystal clear every time! and if you don't like the super-gloss finish, just wet sand it gently with some 600 grit for a nice matte look.

On my white Mag Mod it yellow'd some. I didn't mind it since my decal is yellow.

If it yellow's on the darker pedals I sure can't tell.

Wait, apparently there are 2 different Krylon Crystal Clears. Can anyone speak to which works better? I have been using the first.

I think I have the first one so either one should work fine(I just went with whichever they had at my local hardware store.) They both say non-yellowing too, but I have heard to go with the 1303 if possible.

I've tried the Minwax Polycrylic but it does not seem to like my waterslide decals.
Is it me or does anyone else have this problem?
It doesn't yellow if I use it on just painted enclosures so I'd like to get it working with decals until I take the plunge with envirotex.

I have not had good luck with the 1303. I just bought some 1301 to try.
