Forgot to put knobs on before I took the pics, imagine it has black davis style knobs...
Messiest wired pedal I've made, I think I'm going to start using more than one colour of wire again.
It works but when the rate is at it's slowest (heel down) and it's fastest (toe down), the effect lasts for about 5 seconds and then the pulses get closer in volume until there is no chop left. As long as the pedal is somewhere in between it seems to work fine and once you start adjusting the rate it works again so not sure what's going on there.
The etched box sucks, it's a Sikorsky S76 in honour of my new job as a helicopter mechanic apprentice that I've been mostly working on an S76 for the past 2.5 months.

I like the monotone wire look...the twisted ones do enough (for me) to clean it up

Makes me wanna build something I can jam an exp pedal into

Nice work!!!

Awesome! Why the second jack on the expression pedal?

Thats too tidy wiring, give yourself a break!
And congrats again to the aero-mech gig man!

Good eye, at first I was going to wire it up so you could plug into either side but then I decided where it would live on my board so I didn't bother. I left it there so I'm not without an extra jack if I change my mind though.

Hmm that's weird. It looks like you did it right with the stereo jacks and cable. Did you unplug the expression cable at the effect side and measure from the cable what resistance you get with the pedal back and forth?

Not yet. I didn't have much time to fool around with it after I finished it but I'm thinking it may be a bad pot as well. The wah shell and pot are about 15 years old from a wah that stopped working about 14 years ago and has been in a box ever since.

Looks righteous, love the etching.

I apologize if this isn't the right place, but does anyone know if there are any extras of the stutter trem circuit board floating around somewhere for purchase? I am in need of such a beast.

Killer KB.

Hey congrat's on getting the mechanic job. How's that knee holding up?

Thanks, the job is pretty much a dream apprentice job for someone coming out of school so I feel pretty lucky to have gotten it. The knee is pretty good too. I still don't have all my range of motion back but it's getting close and the strength is getting pretty good now too.

I like the etch. That wiring looks like it might be alive. Scary.

Good news about the job. Hopefully the chopper engines won't suddenly go to full power at each end of the throttle control...

I get about 3.5 ohms with the toe down so that looks like its ok on that end. I held it for awhile too to make sure the reading didn't start to drift. With the heel down I get 131k out of what is marked a 100k wah pot. Do you think the extra 30k has anything to do with it? I'm stumped on the toe down though.
I might get another wah pot and try that. If it still does it with the toe down I could just figure out the smallest resistance I need to keep it going and put it in series I guess. I'd need a pot on the low end of their tolerances though...
