Hi Everybody,

I just finished this pedal, isolation transformers didn't work, turns out a wire snapped. I replaced that and it seemed to work fine until I hooked everything up.

So, the LEDs work fine with the switches. I get clear, hum free sound out of both amps. The issue is that I get sound out of both amps no matter which one is selected with the LED and switch.

I can take higher res pictures, but I was hoping somebody may know where I should start troubleshooting.

Thanks!

Could you provide some photos showing the footswitch wiring?

Everything is hooked up as numbered. None of the solder or wires are touching each other that I can see.

Thanks for taking a look. -C

The selector circuit works by grounding out (via a resistor network) one audio path or the other - with A active B is grounded and vice-versa. The grounding is performed by the channel switch but relies on the both switch also grounding when it is not in the both position. Your problem is almost certainly in the switch wiring (or a faulty switch).

Your pictures are not very clear but the wires to 6 and 5 on the A/B switch, the left hand switch (viewed from the back of the pedal) seem reversed. That would then switch between muting channel A or connecting both channels together - when the both switch is not switched to both.

Indeed you are correct. I got it to work last night. I also ended up replacing that switch.

Thanks for your help!
