The mini board's really starting to come together. This is culturejam's Shoot the Moon tremolo, stuffed into a really small box. If you're interested in building one of these, I highly recommend using guitarmageddon's layout posted in the layout and schematic vault. Mine works fine but has a fair number of standing resistors and squished-together parts (as you can see below).

Anyway, here she be:

Some in process guts, as I was trying to determine where to stick the second LED:

And the guts:

Many thanks to CJ and guitarmageddon!

+1 and that's why I've not tried it yet :D

Great work Matt. You make it look easy the way you laid it in there and I know it's not.

I was sooo proud of my Wooly Mammoth in the 1590A, until...............

Nice work! And I HAVE to get some of those pots!

This one is really high up on my 'must build, now' list, lol

I'm not gonna lie, there was a bit of file-work to finagle it all in there. Also, I probably should have skipped using Barry's 3pdt board in this one and saved some space. Ah well!

Thanks! These mini builds appeal to my love of puzzles, etc. I have a stack of 1590B's and 1590BB's waiting for me to pay them some attention. I can just hear my big board calling, "Hey, you've had the same pedals on me for like 3 weeks. What gives?!"

Nah man, here are a few things that are more impressive in your Mammoth build: open jacks, 16mm pots, internal-nut DC jack. The way I layout my hardware in a 1590A, it's virtually impossible to short on anything besides the enclosure or run a wire in a way in which it'll get caught on something, so I can pretty much mash the board in there without worry.

It almost looks like, what with the socketed IC's, like the back of the enclosure would be a tough fit......

Great build, BTW, I never would have thought that circuit would have fit!

Most excellent! I have a hard enough time walking straight, let alone building something like this.

It's actually those damn 1uF caps that are the tallest component. If I were to do this over again, I would not socket the ICs and find a way to lay down the big caps...

Or you could use 1uF multilayer ceramics:

Cheap and tiny! They are about the same size as the small ceramic disc caps.
