Build Your Own Clone Message Board

Hi,
How do you tell the difference between the 120ohm and 10k resistors? I put them all side by side and tried to find one that didn't quite match the others and am assuming it's the 120ohm. Is there a better way or something a bit more obvious to tell them from each other?

sometimes those colors are hard to read. the best way to be sure is grab a meter.

Very risky to rely on visual differentiation of the 120R and 10K resistors. I would strongly recommend measuring with a multimeter.

Now why didn't I think of that? Maybe I'll get an award for dumb question of the day.

the only dumb question is the one you don't ask. i've missed some obvious stuff before, posted up about it, then get a big 'doh' when the answer is something i should have thought of.
