I was wondering if anyone has come across a thread explaining the Tremolo circuit similar to this one done on the Confidence Boost: http://www.buildyourownclone.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=30938

I'm new at this, and I'd really like to understand what the pedal is doing while I put the thing together.

Here for what it is worth is a brief description - Q1 and associated parts are a unity gain high impedance buffer (although with 3 1M resistors at the input, effectively wired in parallel the input impedance is only 330K). Q2 and associated parts are the modulation stage with an output that goes straight to the output of the pedal. Q4 and the bits around it are a very weird low frequency oscillator. The signal from the LFO drives the gate of the FET Q3 which acts as a variable resistor across part of the emitter path of Q2, modulating the gain of that stage and therefore imposing a low frequency amplitude change on the output signal.
