I'm really enjoying this pedal, and the PCB layout is quite impressive, and a joy to put together. Like I posted in the Phaser forum, I put a 1M5 in place of the 2M2 to widen and thicken it up a touch, but I love this Phaser. Well done Keith, you rock!

It is, isn't it, Jesse?

However, I am gonna have to ask you to refrain from using the term "Shiznit". The use of that is reserved for Culturejam. Also, he has all rights to any words with the faux suffix "-izzle", too. Sorry, sir.

No worries. I recently attended this seminar, so it's bound to start rolling in.

Hmmm. I'm gonna need to see some paperwork on this one. What if I reference it like this?

"The Phase Royal is the Shiznit™©!*

* "Shiznit" is a Trademark of CultureJam.

Candletears,

I find that the phase royal thins my tone and have been considering mods to thicken, deepen, etc...

Does the 1M5 in the 2M2 spot fatten up dry as well as wet with the pedal on (I'm no board expert and don't claim to understand all of the various stages and components, but you made the comment so casually I'm thinking you might be able to advise).

Or does it affect only the depth or something?

Let me know if you get a minute.

CEW

CEW, how did you go with your build? That resistor swap only affects the wet signal, or "effect on". Are you saying your signal sounds thin in bypass? We may have to trouble shoot that one. (sorry for the late response, I only just saw your post!).

CEW - check out phase royal posts in the non-BBD modulation forum. There are suggestions in there to thicken up the dry tone.

I need to get on building this thing. I've only done thing, I've been eyeballing it for a while!
