Hi all,

I think my 3pdt switch is whack. Could it be that I overheated the lugs a bit? Did that ever happen to any of you? It's kind of working but if I jitter the lever part on the outside a bit, it starts behaving a bit funky. I get all kinds of crackling noises. Too bad, I was enjoying my new delay build but I cant take it on stage like this. Is there a remedy for this? (other than replace the d*mn thing)

Cheers,
Tom

Hi tg,
Yes, you can heat that post, which will turn the red epoxy which holds it in place, into jelly, and the post moves from it's position of contact. While you wait for a new switch to arrive, you can try heating it back up, and getting it back into position...what have you got to lose?

Darn, how unfortunate (I will refrain from using more powerfull terms). I think I'll try to find out how many of the poles are dead. If I just fried one, I can still used it for the trail mod for the delay. I was using a 3pdt for that because I didn't have a dpdt at hand. I'll just have to swap the switches. Thanks
