Electric Druid VCADSR, emulation of CEM 3312 and SSM 2056, based on PIC16F684. This is the simple version, with global time CV and attenuator, doing the full-on version with seperate CV over A, D, S and R next. The sockets of the left that look like multiples are.....multiples.

A few new ones:

"Recycler" based on the forthcoming Electric Druid LoopEnv1 PIC. This is the full-on version featuring:

- voltage control over A, D, S, R and global time
- 'Out' 0v - 5v out for envelope use
- 'BP' (bipolar out) +/-5v out for VCLFO use
- three way mode switch ADSR/Gated looping/Looping
- Lin/Log switch - Lin is good for VCLFO modes, Log for VCASDR mode

Next up, "Multimode" super simple LM13700 multimode VCF prototype:

Finally, "Utility", Roland System 100M 132 CV Mixer/Voltage Processor, with multiples.

That's killer!

Before BYOC, I spent about 6 or 7 years building up my own gigantic modular, but with 1/4" jacks. Based mostly on Synth Tech (MOTM) but actually 5 vendors in the thing:

This is an old picture, the top rack is full now and I have one more tier filled. Talk about an addiction...I'm better now, I build pedals.

Search iTunes or Amazon for "Cult of the Individual" if you'd like to hear it.

I think I must build a modular system now. At least the size of Steve Porcaros wallrack.

Dammit, FC, I imagine you wake up in the morning, stretch, look in the mirror, build something better than everyone else, have some cereal, build another masterpiece and then watch some tv. Like, you know, no big deal.

Hahaha, something like that. Today I:

- woke up, stretched, looked in the mirror
- drilled and cut 21 PCBs
- built a 14 stage phaser
- populated a Roland 100M VCF clone PCB

Who has time for cereal?

Roland 100M 121 VCF clone using 4 x CA3080 (thanks anotherfx!). I've added a very nice extra feature:

- additional 12dB/oct audio output

.......which is...

- inverted with respect to the stock 24dB/oct output

.......therefore...

- mixing the two outputs together results in phase cancellation and therefore bandpass mode

.......and also really interesting to use the two outputs for stereo.

GREAT filter! I love the extras, too. I might want this in my MOTM even though I promised myself that I was 'done' :/

Is there a pcb available?

There's always a PCB available with (most of) my stuff. I'm just tweaking the layout right now, should be ready in a day or two - PM me.

For Gods sake, do not post soundclips of these machines!! I'm having enough trouble resisting opening up a whole new avenue of this hobby - must not go to MFOS and order something, must..not..go...

not even just a little board to try it out, no, no..
