I need to buy a Keeley comp 2 knob, the only available, only ships to US. :(

So, if someone is willing to make this favor for me, it would be awesome.

Before you buy the item, money will be sent to you via paypal, including the shipping fees to have it shipped to Canada, wich is around 10$.

Thanks, Rej

Ask to join the Gear Talk classifieds on Facebook. I have seen a few go for a good bit less than that on there. Prob no middle man needed.

Rej, why not just purchase it and give the shipping address as mine? I'll ship it from work any way you want as due to your customs etc... you would have to tell me what is best and after I tell you how much you can just paypal me the shipping?

Or you could build the compressor 8)

Cool! I'll let you know, in the day :)

Thing is, this is a service i'm doing for a great friend, he got plenty of comps, including a BYOC 5knob

He's working with a new band in his studio and they're not able to get the totally transparent sustain needed among all the compressor he have....even tried with a Distressor.......

Ok, just let me know.

I'm told by some folks around these parts that a ton of the country music folks here use this Keely compressor in the studio even. Don't know if true or not but a few different sources have mentioned this to me.

I think that comp is the most used in studios overall, the 2 knob and 4 knob aswell....

Some peeps even use it in «insert» to work some tones on drums, bass and keys and stuff like that....

It used to have, on the Keeley site, the pole of all the song on the Billboard that had his compressor used....impressive list...

Has your friend tried teh BYOC opticomp? I'm not a comp expert but it's widely regarded as transparent, and I would absolutely agree with the sentiment. It compresses and boosts. Cleanly. It does not squish or sparkle or any of that sort. I love mine...

Nope he have'nt tried that one!

I'll give him a shout about it, waiting for his phone call, it would be awesome!

I would give me the opportunity to build my first complete BYOC kit.....

It can get very squishy with the release mod, love the opticomp and I shouldn't have sold mine  Time to build another I guess
