Does the router switch between 2 channels on a Super Reverb?

Hi All,

Quick question: I've used a simple switching devices like the Switch Blade and ran into problems on switching channels on Fender 2 channel amps such as a Fender Silver Face Super Reverb. Does the buffered router switch between the 2 channels w/o any problems? I've had the amp modded to blackface specs and had channel 1 modded to be a distortion channel and channel 2 is normal Fender clean.

What sort of problems did you run into? Did it just not work?

I cannot see any reason why the BYOC Amp Selector and Stereo FX Router should not be able to switch between two input jacks on the same amp if that is what you want to do.

Sorry about that. I didn't describe the problem. I had ground hum problems. I couldn't figure out why, because it was all the same amp and no pedals or other power.

Ah right. Well one possible reason for the hum might be that with two jack cables plugged in and grounded at the switcher end and also at the two amp inputs you have a ground loop through the shields of the two cables. With the BYOC Amp Selector and Stereo FX Router you can flip one of the output ground switches to float one of the cables and avoid a ground loop.
