after everything i finally found the final, right, definitive 45/90 mod. keith, remember when you said this:



you were almost right. i thought and thought and thought, and considered all the advice i have been given, and decided to try something similar to this, but instead of cutting the trace after the first phase stage, i cut the trace after the third gain stage. the switch, instead of unhooking the signal that comes from the 1st stage, unhooks the signal from the third.

actually, i just drew it up, and it looks the same, but your board was upside down, so it was mixed up.

so you know for sure that this is right?

actually, it sounds best if you actually bend leg 6 of the opamp, and wire directly from that, and have the switch to go to where it would have gone. i don't even think you have to cut traces this way.

so this works, with no issues?

Man....maybe I should just get a run of FL phaser PCBs made again and just sell the board, but not the kit.
