wondering if anyone can give me a hint where i'm going wrong.

this is only my second build, and it seems to be going ok. except when i engage the comp not much really happens.

i can twiddle the knobs, and all i get is the volume going down. Also, compared to the bypassed sound it's also quieter.

it's prob just short, but do you reckon i could have fried a component?

Have you tried adjusting the trim pot yet?

yes. it aslo doesn't do much other than turn the volume down
it's defenently on. there's a little hiss, no compression and the volume doesn't go above the bypassed volume

It does sound like a soldering problem somewhere.
