 Post subject: Which IC in the Armstrong Twin?

Hey All;
I'm looking to maybe built the Twin and source the couple of parts that I don't already have. While checking the parts list/build pdf on the Twin, I did not see any IC listed. I also checked the schematic. Will a rc4558 work? I have a few in the 'screamer' parts drawer.

Any idea when the PC board might be available for the Twin

damnit! instructions updated. Thanks for catching that Red. Unfortunately I don't have any atwin boards for sale. I do have a lot of blem boards that have a really easy fix on them though.

that said, i assume we can sub op-amps like we do with the screamer? anyone done this yet?

yes, you should be able to trade out just about any dual opamp. While it would have an effect on the signal, I can't say it how much. It'll be something I'll play with when I get my kit.
